Moving to the country is the best decision I’ve ever made in my life

When I sold my apartment in New York and moved to the countryside with my whole family, my friends used to twist their fingers at the temple.

I admit it wasn’t an easy decision for me either. It just seems like it’s easy for me to just move. You have a job, your wife has a job, the kid goes to school, the second kid goes to kindergarten. Moving didn’t seem like the perfect solution. At the time, it was a choice between a bad decision and a worse one. I chose the bad one. We talked to my wife for a long time. She didn’t want to move until the last moment. But I couldn’t live in the metropolis anymore.

Just to get to work, I spent an hour and a half, an hour and a half back (if without traffic jams).

I got tired of running all the time.

There are so many disadvantages to the village. Rarely in what remote village there is a normal Internet, I and my wife need to work, and without transportation, there is nothing to do.

But it’s all nonsense.

But I don’t have a headache to feed my family. The farm has almost seven dozen chickens, piglets, goats, and a huge greenhouse. I wanted to make a mushroom, sorry I couldn’t make it. You’ll sit down in the evening and beauty – birds singing, fresh air. No quarantines, no passes.

I’m tired too, but it’s pleasant tiredness… At least you see the results of your work.
